Ancient Future

Our process exists between eras a space where creation feels both ancient and futuristic, where time becomes circular.

Each piece is designed with the intention that it could belong to a forgotten civilization or one not yet born. We draw inspiration from the geometry of antiquity and the refinement of modern craft, merging ancestral forms with contemporary precision.

Our methods reject excess and automation, focusing instead on hand-led processes, elemental materials, and enduring design. To create artifacts that feel eternal, unbound by season or trend, alive with both memory and possibility.

HANDMADE ARTIFACTS

Every element of our process is done by hand from the sourcing of gold and the finding of rare gems to the sculpting, casting, and finishing of each piece.

Nothing passes through industrial systems or anonymous supply chains.

Our gold is gathered directly from artisanal miners, our gemstones are selected one by one for their provenance and character, and every mold, alloy, and form is crafted within our own atelier.

The same hands that create the jewelry also design the packaging, pour the plaster boxes, photograph the pieces, and shape the world they live within from the visual language to the words, the shipping, and the Arkive books that preserve each story.

This is not production. It is practice an unbroken thread of creation, intention, and care that extends from the Earth to the final artifact.

PROVENANCE

Every material we work with is chosen for its origin, integrity, and traceable lineage.

Our gold is gathered as natural nuggets from the Yukon and Australia, each carrying a distinct mineral blueprint that verifies its source through elemental composition and crystalline structure.

Our gemstones are hand-selected for provenance, rarity, and individuality, sourced directly from small-scale miners and lapidaries who share our commitment to ethical extraction and geological authenticity.

All alloys, castings, and forms are composed entirely in-house, ensuring every stage of creation remains connected from the raw material to the finished artifact.

The hand-poured plaster vessels and paper-bound Arkive books are made by MYST, crafted from natural materials and designed to hold the same precision and intention as the jewelry itself.

Capsule

Each plaster vessel is a capsule a crystalline shell formed by hand in the MYST atelier.

Poured, cured, and sculpted individually, no two boxes are ever the same. The material itself crystallizes as it dries, creating subtle mineral patterns and textures that mirror the Earth’s own formations.

These vessels are not packaging they are artifacts of protection and preservation, designed to hold and honor the jewelry within.

Like stone around a fossil, the plaster forms a capsule that safeguards what it contains, transforming each piece into a complete object gold, gem, and vessel, bound together as one.

Through this process, even the container becomes part of the story: a living sculpture that marks the moment of creation and keeps it suspended in time.

ARKIVE

Each MYST piece is accompanied by its own Arkive a hand-sewn, paper-bound record crafted within our atelier.

Every book is individually made, documenting the complete history of the artifact it accompanies: origin, alloy composition, gemstone details, maker’s marks, weight, and serial number.

Inside each Arkive is a certificate of authenticity and a written account of the piece’s creation where the gold was gathered, how it was formed, and the story it carries.

Like a geological record, it preserves the lineage of material and meaning, ensuring every work remains traceable through time.

The Arkive transforms each piece into a living document part artifact, part narrative, part memory.

PROCESS

GOLD

Each piece begins with artisanal-mined gold nuggets sourced from the Yukon and Australia. No cyanide, mercury, or industrial refining only heat, pressure, and time. Each nugget is melted and alloyed by hand within our atelier, preserving its mineral blueprint and natural warmth.

CREATION

From sculpting to casting, finishing, photography, and documentation every stage happens in-house. We pour the plaster molds, refine the alloys, hand-polish the forms, and design the vessels that hold them. Even the imagery, the Arkive books, and the shipping experience are created by our own hands.

PRECIOUS GEMS

We source rare, one-of-a-kind gemstones based on provenance, clarity, and resonance never from bulk suppliers or mass markets. Each stone is traced to its place of origin and cut by skilled lapidaries who understand the language of light. We pair each gem intuitively to the metal that surrounds it a dialogue between structure and spirit, Earth and craft.
